MyGig, a service for finding part-time jobs and hiring temporary employees, attracted RUB 120 million from Sistema SmartTech and others
The company will spend the money to develop the platform and enter new regions.
Sistema SmartTech, investment firm Altus Capital and shareholders of the Brayne Family Office invested in the startup, the partners announced.
With MyGig, companies can find temporary workers during busy hours or high-demand seasons. Performers can work close to home with flexible hours and get paid 30 minutes after their shift ends. You must have self-employed status to fulfill requests.
Performers can work as salespeople, movers, couriers and others.
MyGig works in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don, Nizhny Novgorod and others. The company plans to expand to other Russian regions and foreign markets in 2022.
The MyGig platform has more than 170 thousand registered performers, and its clients include major chain retailers, restaurants, delivery services and others. For example, Lenta, Dodo Pizza, and Samokat.
The company’s revenue at the end of 2020 was 5.5 million rubles, net profit – 569 thousand rubles according to “Kontur.Focus”. The commission of the platform depends on additional services, the number of applications, professions, the sphere of activity and the number of orders.
